Upcoming CSSE 2015 highlights

On Sunday, May 31 during Timeslots 3, 4, & 5 we are holding a special themed institute: Women in Leadership. Please plan to come to the multi-paper session, which includes research about women in educational leadership. This will be followed by an amazing panel that brings together women Deans and Chairs from Educational Faculties from around Canada. Stay for our social gathering (with snacks!) to meet fellow members and continue our conversations. The institute will be held Sunday, May 31, Day 1: 11:30 – 4:15 in Room 243. We look forward to seeing you there! (No pre-registration is necessary.)

On Monday, June 1 during Timeslot 9 we present a CASWE Workshop: Creating Your Professional Identity Online. Facilitated by Dr. Tieja Thomas, this workshop is for anyone who is interested in become more visible online and is not sure which tools to use or how to begin. It is also a great workshop for those who are already online and want to jazz up their web presence! Come to Room 243 at 11:30 to take part.

Also on Monday, June 1 during Timeslot 12 QSEC, our SIG, invites you to attend their feature session: Queer Intervention and Outreach in Ottawa. This special themed session brings research and practice together along with local and national researchers and youth educators. This event is at 4:30, in Room 422. Light refreshments will be provided.

The CASWE AGM will be held on Tuesday, June 2 at 10:00 in Room 243 (Timeslot 14). Join us for our meeting and morning snacks too. All members of CASWE are welcome and we encourage you to bring a friend.
